The Community Foundation is committed to supporting charitable organizations, projects and programs located in or serving northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan that promote and enrich arts and culture, that foster artistic expression, preserve cultural heritage, expand access to the arts, support local artists and cultural institutions, or enhance community engagement through visual arts, music, theater, dance, literature, and other cultural activities.
Established in 2025, the Arts and Culture Fund will prioritize projects that strengthen connections between residents and neighborhoods, boost civic engagement and pride, and support artists as working professionals, helping to create a network of vibrant cultural hubs that celebrate what makes each community unique.
The Need:
This fund represents a local response to uncertainties in arts funding. By focusing on place-based public arts installations, murals or performances, this will create infrastructure that will support cultural initiatives for generations.
Record of Impact:
Historically, the Foundation has granted over $40 million to arts and culture to date, with 280 nonprofit partners.
