Our Vision A vibrant region where all thrive.
Our Mission We create opportunities, connect generosity and inspire collective action.
Why This Plan Over 18 months, the Community Foundation listened to more than 300 donors, nonprofit partners and community leaders to shape a plan that will guide our work for the next three years and beyond.
Four Pillars, One Engine for Impact

Transformational Impact — We will ignite awareness, mobilize resources and catalyze solutions through strong partnerships to create lasting impact in the communities we serve.
Greater Giving — We will build an even stronger culture of philanthropy, inspiring more people to invest their time, talent and treasure in our region.
Thriving Nonprofits — We will cultivate a nonprofit sector defined by excellence and recognized as a model for what communities can achieve.
Operational Excellence — We will strengthen our own governance and operations so the Community Foundation is positioned to lead for generations to come.
Three Phases
Phase One focuses on engaging the community, deepening partnerships and launching new resources, including the Center for Nonprofit Excellence and the Center for Philanthropy.
Phase Two focuses on telling the full story of philanthropy's impact, deepening donor engagement and launching a broad campaign to strengthen nonprofit sustainability.
Phase Three focuses on deploying the Stronger Together and area of interest funds, increasing total dollars deployed and leveraged into the community, and preparing for the next strategic planning process.
Together, we continue to build a more vibrant future for all.
