TOLEDO, OH — Greater Toledo Community Foundation is proud to announce the distribution of $75,000 in grants to six community organizations serving Toledo neighborhoods. The Toledo Neighborhood’s Fund was established through proceeds from the innovative Solar Array at the former Jeep site, Overland, and is focused on creating a lasting positive impact.

These inaugural grants from the Toledo Neighborhoods Foundation will directly benefit thousands of residents through improved public spaces, enhanced youth programming, emergency services upgrades and workforce development opportunities.

"These investments represent our commitment to strengthening Toledo's neighborhoods," said Kate Sommerfeld, president and CEO of Greater Toledo Community Foundation. "From creating safe recreational spaces to providing job opportunities for young adults, each of these projects addresses critical community needs identified by residents."
