The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of assigned volunteers and for coordinating volunteer services based upon patient/family needs and volunteer interests.
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of experience in a health care setting coordinating patient-related activities is preferred; previous volunteer supervision experience also preferred
- Minimum 2-year college education preferred
- Familiar with Medicare Conditions of Participation as it relates to volunteer services
- Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills; demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
- Demonstrates strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
