The YWCA has a Full-time (40 hours/week) on-site position in Toledo, Ohio to support foster network activities.
Duties include community outreach, recruitment, and onboarding services for foster/adoptive caregivers while addressing needs identified in gap analysis. Deliver training, technical assistance and collaboration as needed for state and regional priorities regarding the needs of children and families. Responsible for providing consultations and training to parents regarding quality childcare, conducting child care searches for parents and caregivers.
A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Human Service, or a related field is required and a minimum of two years of experience in the social work field. Experience with people from diverse ethnic, educational, economic, and cultural backgrounds required. Excellent verbal and written skills, knowledge of early childhood, and good computer skills required. Knowledge of Child Welfare and Foster Care and Adoption is preferred. Ability to travel is required.
Salary Range: $19.00-23.00/hour, benefits available.
