Help support community-driven strategies for vacant lot reuse by conducting research, fostering partnerships, and leading engagement efforts with residents and stakeholders by serving as a LISC Americorps Vacant Lot Reclamation Research & Engagement Coordinator. You will work closely with our team and local civic and community groups and organizations to identify best practices for vacant lot stabilization, placemaking and public use, greening, and long-term neighborhood revitalization.
This is an 11-month position where you will typically serve 40 hours a week, normally Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional evenings and weekends. You will report in person at our office and will be required to travel locally for meetings and community events.
