Position Overview
The Program Manager will play a key role in advancing the mission of the Multifaith Council by developing, implementing, and facilitating programs that promote interfaith dialogue, collaboration, and service. This part-time contractor role requires a dynamic and organized individual who is passionate about fostering inclusivity and has experience in program management and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Planning and Development

o Design, plan, and implement programs aligned with the organization’s mission and goals. 
o Collaborate with the Board to identify community needs and create impactful initiatives.
o Develop program budgets, timelines, and measurable objectives.
o Make a report to the Board of Directors, preferably attending Board meetings monthly.
o Lead the Advisory Board – volunteers who assist with program planning.

2. Program Facilitation
o Organize and lead events, workshops, and activities, ensuring inclusive participation from diverse faith communities.
o Serve as the primary facilitator for programs, engaging participants in meaningfuldialogue and action.
o Coordinate logistics, including securing venues, speakers, and materials.

3. Community Outreach and Partnerships
o Build and maintain relationships with community partners, faith leaders, and stakeholders.
o Represent the Multifaith Council at select community events and forums.
o Work with the Director of Operations to craft promotional strategies to increase program visibility and participation.

4. Volunteer and Stakeholder Engagement
o Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for programs and events.
o Provide leadership and support to program committees.

5. Evaluation and Reporting
o Track program outcomes and prepare detailed reports for the Board.
o Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve programs.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Education and or experience in Nonprofit Management, Religious Studies, Community
Development, or a related field

Minimum 1 year of experience in program management, community engagement, or a related role.

Experience working with interfaith, multifaith or multicultural organizations is highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies:
Strong organizational and project management skills.

Excellent communication and facilitation abilities, with an aptitude for engaging diverse audiences.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Workspace).

Other Requirements:
Commitment to the mission and values of the Multifaith Council of Northwest Ohio. 

Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends for events. 

Reliable transportation to attend in-person events and meetings as needed. 

Attend Board  Meetings and co-facilitate Advisory Committee Meetings

Compensation
This is a part-time contractor position. Compensation is negotiable
