Job Detail: Sunshine is seeking nurses to work at our base campus in Maumee, Ohio providing 24/7 medical care to multiple individuals with varying disabilities, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Responsibilities include:

• Using the nursing process, provide care and oversee individuals with varying disabilities
• Maintain charts, records, and all physician orders and lab values
• Keeping current with regulations from Ohio Department of Health, Ohio Department of Developmental Disability and all other regulatory entities, as well as regulatory compliance within the agency
• Providing constant and effective communication through an interdisciplinary team approach
• Willingness to learn and be trained on ventilators, trachs and gastric tubes, if not proficient already.
• Weekend rotation, small on-call requirement, shift differential, and on-call pay!

Qualifications: To work as a nurse at Sunshine, you must have a strong interest in providing nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that supports our mission: to create community among people with developmental disabilities, their families, friends, and staff.

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Ohio
• Valid Driver’s License, good driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
• Able to lift 60 pounds & pass a criminal background check
