The Opportunity
The Human Resources & Employee Relations Manager will lead HR operations across the agency, ensuring our staff feel supported, valued, and equipped to serve the community. This role blends hands on HR expertise with a deep commitment to fairness, belonging, and professional growth.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a trusted partner for employee relations and performance matters
- Manage benefits administration and lead annual open enrollment
- Oversee payroll, workers’ compensation, and retirement programs
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and nonprofit requirements
- Lead onboarding, training, and professional development initiatives
- Support leadership in building a positive, compliant workplace culture
What We’re Looking For
- 5–7+ years of HR experience, ideally in a nonprofit or mission-based organization
- Strong employee relations and benefits management background
- Working knowledge of payroll, compliance, and workers’ compensation
- Excellent communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills
- HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000, based on experience
