TutorSmart is a well-established non-profit organization committed to helping children reach grade level proficiency by collaborating with schools and tutoring providers across the Greater Toledo and surrounding communities.
TutorSmart is seeking a Director of Advancement, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent of at least 3 years’ experience in business, marketing communications, Nonprofit Management or a related field. Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credential a plus.
Ideal Candidate will be part of the leadership team and will spearhead TutorSmart’s fundraising and community relationship-building initiatives, playing a crucial role in securing funding to support organizational sustainability and growth. Primary focus is to execute comprehensive fundraising campaigns, cultivate donor relationships, secure major gifts and spearhead special events.
Must be proficient in overseeing fundraising databases, tracking systems and other software with strong attention to detail and demonstrate a thorough understanding of fundraising principles, ethics, and regulatory compliance. Ability to communicate professionally at all levels and work independently as needed. Salary range $70,000-$80,000 depending on experience. Benefits include QSEHRA with paid time off and holidays.
