POSITION SUMMARY:
The Data Entry/Administrative Assistant performs a variety of secretarial and administrative duties to support the staff and day-to-day operations and fundraising efforts.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare correspondence, reports and other documents as needed.
- Assist with daily maintenance of donor database – Raiser’s Edge
- Daily gift entry
- Prepare acknowledgment letters.
- Maintain donor records and database management.
- Work with the business office to reconcile daily deposits.
- Provide assistance to Development Director, Annual Giving Manager and Database Manager.
- Provide excellent customer service to callers and visitors.
- Collaborate with staff to support annual giving, major gifts, special event programs and planned giving; including Raffle, Theresa Maxis Award, Benefactor Appreciation Day, Christmas Tribute Tree, Retirement Appeal, Annual Report, Ministry Appeal, Thank-a-Thon and Royal Blue Classic
- Assist with special event management.
- Drive as needed.
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates or Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Ability to learn, understand and support the IHM mission and values.
- Raiser’s Edge experience preferred.
- Ability to be productive in a cooperative working environment.
- Ability to be flexible and work well with others in a small office setting.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to compose letters and documents.
- Excellent computer skills, proficient with MS Office products.
