Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity (MVHFH) is seeking a strategic and mission-driven executive to serve as Chief Mission Advancement Officer (CMAO). This senior leadership role is responsible for advancing the organization’s mission, visibility, and long-term sustainability through comprehensive revenue strategy, brand leadership, and community engagement.
Reporting to the CEO and serving on the executive team, the CMAO oversees Development, ReStore operations, Marketing & Communications, and Volunteer Engagement — leading more than $7.5 million in annual philanthropic and earned revenue.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a multi-year advancement strategy aligned with organizational goals
• Oversee all fundraising and earned revenue streams, including major gifts, planned giving, corporate partnerships, grants, campaigns, and ReStore
• Partner with the CEO and Board on donor cultivation and major gift strategy
• Provide executive oversight of marketing, communications, and brand stewardship
• Lead and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s and/or CFRE preferred
• 7–10+ years of senior nonprofit fundraising, advancement, or sales leadership experience
• Proven success achieving ambitious revenue goals
• Strong strategic, leadership, and relationship-building skills
