This session will start with a panel of Board Members and Philanthropic and Organizational Leaders

About the Presenter: 

Marcia Sloan Latta, Ed.D., brings extensive experience in higher education and philanthropic leadership, having helped raise over $400 million for universities and healthcare organizations. After 40 years of executive leadership at three universities and a hospital foundation, she recently semi-retired and now consults through Latta Strategies, focusing on board governance and philanthropic giving.

Marcia is actively involved in board service, currently chairing Ohio’s State Parks Foundation Board, and the governance committee of F&M State Bank. She also serves as a trustee for a family foundation at the Bowling Green Community Foundation, where she was the founding president. Her past board roles include the Toledo Zoo, Historic Sauder Village, and Ohio Citizens for the Arts. Marcia has received multiple awards and has presented on governance and nonprofit topics regionally, nationally, and internationally.
